Relationship Therapy
Most struggles we experience in life can be stripped down to the quality of our bonds with others. When our most important relationships are feeling strained, tense, or disconnected, it can lead to stress, pain and ultimately wreak havoc on our well-being. Communicating our needs and concerns can be extremely hard and when we feel misunderstood and hurt we can get stuck in a repetitive cycle of interactions that aren't productive and leave us feeling very alone. Addiction and affair recovery, life stage transitions, parenting stress, trauma wounds, consensual non-monogamy and sexual intimacy challenges are some of the areas I have supported couples in navigating. I utilize clinically proven models to help you get the best results in our work together. We begin with an in-depth assessment process to ensure we are targeting the areas needed. Then, we engage in experiential and interactive work that is structured to enhance your connection and build your skills to relate to one another more effectively.

The Gottman Method
I am a Certified Gottman Therapist after completing extensive training and supervision. This model is based on the 40 years of pioneering work by Drs. John & Julie Gottman and is grounded in the science of what makes marriages succeed and fail. Their model has been shown to reduce divorce and significantly increase relationship satisfaction. Their methods focus on building communication skills and teaching couples how to shift their arguments into conversations that promote understanding and collaboration. Couples report improved connection, security, and trust when they learn to lean into understanding and navigating their differences together.

Emotionally Focused Therapy
I have completed advanced training and supervision requirements for EFT and am in the final stages of completing certification. EFT is based in attachment science. Experiential interventions are utilized to deepen and clarify emotions to establish and recreate supportive bonds between partners. Together we will identify the negative conflict cycle, or choreographed dance, that has created relational disconnection and restructure and organize interactions that promote healing and secure bonding.

Weekend Intensives
I also provide weekend therapy intensives for couples that are needing quick therapy gains. This can be due to a high level of distress, such as after a betrayal is discovered or couples experiencing a high frequency of conflict. It can also be beneficial for couples with non- traditional or complex schedules that make weekly sessions challenging. I have contracted with Couples Therapy Inc, an international leader in the couples therapy field specializing in the intensive format utilizing cutting-edge assessment and empirical models.
